PEN15: A Juvenile, Humdrum Comedy That Just About Holds It Together.
PEN15 is an awkward disappointment, telling jokes that have been heard many times before. Even the jokes that are fresh soon wear out their welcome. C

Russian Doll, Season 1 (2019): Brilliant Writing & Top-Notch Acting Make This Comedy A Must Watch
Russian Doll takes an old plot device and runs with it in new and interesting ways, creating a show that’s rife with comedy and rich, nuanced characters, pushing the boundaries for what such shows, and the ideas they represent, can portray. It is a fascinating and well-written show that wastes no time in telling the story it wants to tell. It tells little stories within stories, allowing for both hilarity and poignance, and is a show I wholeheartedly recommend, even if the conclusion isn’t as satisfying as it could’ve been. A
